Following intense rainfall, Yangwei Village in Baitang Town was hit by severe flooding. After the floodwaters receded, significant amounts of silt and mud accumulated in the village's alleyways and farmlands, creating conditions prone to bacterial growth and disease proliferation, making post-disaster epidemic prevention an urgent necessity. To safeguard the health and safety of residents, Guo Junjie, the village's First Secretary, actively coordinated with the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the unit that dispatched him, to secure emergency support. Through these efforts, a plant protection drone was deployed to carry out comprehensive sanitization operations across the village.

Capitalizing on the high efficiency and expansive coverage of drone technology, workers administered targeted spraying of disinfectants over key areas, including public alleyways, community activity zones, and flooded farmlands. This efficient approach successfully mitigated the risk of disease transmission after the disaster. Looking ahead, Yangwei Village will continue advancing environmental clean-up and silt removal initiatives, conducting detailed assessments of damage to homes and crops, and coordinating all aspects of post-disaster reconstruction to accelerate the restoration of residents' daily lives and production activities.
