Shares of HQVT (01392) climbed as much as 13% in early trading before paring gains to stand 2.95% higher at HK$24.42, with turnover reaching HK$29.61 million.
On September 7, HQVT announced that, following the adjustment lists published by the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges, its shares listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong have been included in the eligible securities lists for both the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect and the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect, effective from September 7, 2026.
Additionally, the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology recently unveiled its proposed roster for model service providers in 2026, with HQVT securing a spot thanks to its proprietary "Zhiyuan Origin" large model.
As a scarce physical AI commercialization play on the Hong Kong market, HQVT's large model services have emerged as its primary growth engine. In the first half of 2026, revenue from large model services reached RMB 320 million, surging 382.5% year-on-year and accounting for 78.8% of total revenue.
With this proposed registry inclusion, eligible local enterprises in Shenzhen can access policy subsidies when procuring HQVT's multispectral AI services. This move is expected to lower customer acquisition costs, expand orders across more industrial scenarios, and accelerate the commercial penetration of vertical large models.
