CCTC (06951) surged more than 10% during the afternoon trading session. At the time of writing, the stock was up 10.10% at HK$118.80, with a trading turnover of HK$123 million.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics announced on September 1 that it had signed a long-term supply agreement valued at KRW 1.0722 trillion (approximately RMB 5.269 billion) with a globally renowned company to supply multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) for its AI servers. This marks the largest MLCC supply contract in the company's history, equivalent to 9.5% of its consolidated revenue from the previous year. Additionally, Samsung Electro-Mechanics has taken the lead in raising quotes for OEM and ODM customers for the fourth quarter of 2026.

A research report from Caitong Securities indicates that with the growth in MLCC sales volume, price recovery, and the gradual release of new production capacity for high-capacity products, CCTC's product mix and profitability are expected to improve further. MLCCs will remain an important source of performance growth for the company going forward. Furthermore, as demand for SOFC downstream applications grows and overseas production capacity gradually comes on stream, the company is well-positioned to leverage its advantages in ceramic materials and large-scale manufacturing to continually open up a second growth curve.
