China's Auto Parts Imports Dip to $1.45 Billion in July, Reflecting Continued Market Softness

Data from the General Administration of Customs, as compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, reveals that in July 2026, the import value of automotive components reached $1.45 billion.

This figure represents a 2.8% decrease compared to the previous month and a significant 27.1% drop year-on-year, indicating sustained weakness in the sector.

Cumulative imports for the first seven months of 2026 totaled $11.25 billion, marking an 8.0% decline from the same period last year.
