In a statement released on the evening of the 5th, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy announced that it had targeted three oil tankers and three vessels associated with the United States in the Strait of Hormuz.

The IRGC Navy asserted that these actions were a direct response to an attack on three Iranian oil tankers, which it attributed to American forces acting out of desperation over a potential blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, resulting in damages.

In its declaration, the Revolutionary Guard Navy issued a stern warning that all ships operating in the Persian Gulf must avoid transiting through unauthorized routes, or they will become legitimate targets for further strikes.

As of now, US authorities have not yet provided any confirmation or response to these reported incidents.
