Hong Kong Dollar Interbank Rates Mostly Slip; One-Month Fix Declines for Second Day to 2.88%

Hong Kong dollar interbank offered rates mostly eased on September 10, according to market data.

The one-month Hibor, closely tied to mortgage rates, slipped 0.637 basis points to 2.87750%, marking its second consecutive daily decline. The three-month rate, a barometer of banks' funding costs, held steady at 3.05000%.

Overnight rates dropped 7.274 basis points to 2.34976%, while the one-week tenor fell 6.208 basis points to 2.45988%. The two-week rate declined 2.179 basis points to 2.57363%, and the two-month rate dipped 0.899 basis points to 2.97089%.

Among longer maturities, the six-month rate slid 0.780 basis points to 3.22964%, while the one-year rate eased 1.672 basis points to 3.56423%.
