The individual payment standard is 450 yuan, and according to national regulations, long-term care insurance will not be separately funded for now. Students identified as subsidy-eligible aid recipients may choose to participate in the basic medical insurance at their place of identification. For Danyang students eligible for aid, the individual payment portion will be covered by the social medical aid fund, meaning no personal payment is required. Students cannot enroll in urban-rural resident medical insurance repeatedly. Please complete the insurance enrollment promptly upon school admission and pay the full amount. Enrollment Period: From September 1, 2026, to December 15, 2026 (specific processing times will follow school notifications).

Enrollment Channel: Schools will uniformly handle the registration for students who pay the insurance premium.

Payment Time: After students complete their registration at school, payments can only be made once the school issues the payment notice.

Payment Channels: 1. Parents of primary and secondary school students, as well as kindergarteners, can pay through the WeChat or Alipay mini-program "Jiangsu Tax Social Security Payment". 2. Parents can also use the "Family Mutual Aid" module in the "Jiangsu Medical Insurance Cloud" app after account binding, then select "Mutual Aid Payment" to pay for their children. Choose "2027" for the "Fee Payment Period," select "No" for "Special Payment," and click "Confirm Payment".

Medical Insurance Benefits: Coverage includes both outpatient and hospitalization. For general outpatient services: when visiting designated community hospitals in the city (including school health centers), or pediatric departments of designated secondary or higher medical institutions in the city, 50% of medical expenses within the insurance policy scope can be reimbursed, with an annual cap of 1,000 yuan. For hospitalization: At designated community hospitals in the city, 75% of the portion exceeding 500 yuan within the medical insurance system can be reimbursed. At designated secondary hospitals in the city: for the portion between 1,000 yuan and 10,000 yuan (inclusive) within the medical insurance system, the basic medical insurance fund pays 55%; for the portion between 10,000 yuan and 50,000 yuan (inclusive), it pays 65%; and for the portion exceeding 50,000 yuan, it pays 75%. At designated tertiary hospitals in the city, the reimbursement rate is 5 percentage points lower than that of secondary hospitals. For a second hospitalization within the same year, the deductible threshold is reduced by 50% according to the corresponding hospital level standard. Basic medical insurance coverage has an annual maximum reimbursement of 300,000 yuan. For critical illness insurance: No additional payment is required; it is automatically included with the basic medical insurance. For personal out-of-pocket expenses exceeding 15,000 yuan within the medical insurance policy scope, 60% can be reimbursed for amounts under 100,000 yuan, and 70% for amounts above 100,000 yuan, with a cap of 500,000 yuan. Once the deductible is reached, the system automatically calculates the settlement.

Methods to Activate the Medical Insurance Code: (1) Alipay real-name users can search for "Medical Insurance Code (Medical Insurance Electronic Certificate)" on Alipay and follow the prompts to activate. Once activated, it can be viewed or used in the "Card Package" under "Credentials" in Alipay. (2) WeChat real-name users can search for "Medical Insurance Code (Medical Insurance Electronic Certificate)" on WeChat and follow the prompts. After activation, it can be viewed in "Me" - "Card Package" - "Tickets and Certificates". (3) Search for "National Medical Insurance Service Platform" or "Jiangsu Medical Insurance Cloud" in the Android "App Store" or Apple "App Store", install the app, click on the "Medical Insurance Code (Medical Insurance Electronic Certificate)" at the bottom, and follow the prompts to activate it.

Family Mutual Aid Binding Method and Usage: Insured persons should go to the "Service Hall" - "To Do" - "Family Mutual Aid" function module in the Jiangsu Medical Insurance Cloud app and click "Add Family Member". After filling in the required content according to the "Instructions", sign and submit to complete the family mutual aid binding. After successful binding, when a child settles medical expenses at a designated hospital, the personal expenses after medical insurance reimbursement can be directly paid from the parent's medical insurance personal account balance.
