On September 10, at the State Council Information Office's press conference themed "A Strong Start for the 15th Five-Year Plan," the financial sector's implementation of the plan and efforts to build a financial powerhouse were detailed.

Vice Chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), Li Chao, stated that the commission will next implement more inclusive systems for IPOs and mergers and acquisitions, with the goal of positioning the A-share market as the primary listing destination for high-quality domestic enterprises.

The CSRC plans to dynamically refine the listing standards framework and methodically expand its coverage to embrace new and superior industries. Rules such as the refinancing registration measures are set for accelerated revisions. Additionally, efforts will promote the integrated, high-quality development of the Beijing Stock Exchange and the National Equities Exchange and Quotations. The cycle of "fundraising, investing, managing, and exiting" for private equity and venture capital funds will be further streamlined, guiding capital toward early-stage, small-scale, long-term, and hard-tech ventures.
