On September 11, Li Zhe, Standing Committee Member of the Dongshan District Party Committee and Deputy District Governor candidate, conducted an on-site supervision and inspection of construction safety at the new Heilongjiang Hegang Airport terminal area project (non-civil aviation portion).

During the inspection, the team went directly to the work site to assess safety management controls across key areas including foundation pit support, temporary electrical systems, construction machinery operations, and on-site protective measures. They also listened to detailed reports from the project's construction unit and contractor regarding the implementation of safety production responsibilities, hazard identification and rectification efforts, and overall project progress.

Li emphasized that the new Hegang Airport is a major municipal transportation infrastructure project characterized by tight deadlines and heavy workloads, making it imperative to never relax safety standards. He urged all participating entities to maintain constant vigilance on safety production, adhere to the principle of prioritizing safety with a focus on prevention, refine emergency response plans, and ensure adequate emergency supplies are in place. These measures are essential to building a strong safety defense line and ensuring the smooth and orderly advancement of the new Heilongjiang Hegang Airport terminal area project (non-civil aviation portion).
