Zhongyu Energy executes HKD 1.12 million share buyback; treasury stock rises to 55.54 million shares

Zhongyu Energy Holdings Limited disclosed that it repurchased 400,000 ordinary shares on 09 September 2026 via on-market transactions on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, paying an aggregate HKD 1.12 million. The repurchase price ranged from HKD 2.775 to HKD 2.810 per share, implying a volume-weighted average of approximately HKD 2.79.

Following the transaction: • Issued shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) declined marginally to 2.69 billion. • Treasury stock increased to 55.54 million, leaving the company’s total issued share count unchanged at 2.75 billion. • The buyback represented 0.0149% of outstanding shares prior to the transaction.

The purchase was executed under the general mandate approved on 26 June 2026, which authorises buybacks of up to 270.56 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 12.84 million shares, equating to 0.47% of the outstanding shares on the mandate date.

In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, a 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share disposals is in force until 09 October 2026.
