The program was organized in response to the national "Healthy China 2030" blueprint, aiming to significantly improve the overall dental health standards among Guangzhou's population.

Scope of Coverage

The subsidy program covers a wide range of dental issues, including but not limited to missing teeth, loose teeth, misalignment, and irregular spacing. Specific conditions such as protruding front teeth, underbites, gaps between teeth, and crowded teeth are all included under the orthodontic category. Additionally, the program addresses serious tooth loss scenarios, covering cases with residual roots, severely damaged crowns, partially missing teeth in one jaw, and completely missing teeth in one or both jaws.

Subsidy Details

Eligible citizens can receive a dedicated subsidy ranging from 3,180 yuan to 8,500 yuan per person. The exact amount will be determined based on the specific treatment procedure or the customized repair solution required for each patient's condition. This financial support aims to alleviate the cost burden of dental care for residents.

Application Guidelines

The program has a limited number of available slots, with only 100 placements designated for dental implant procedures and 50 for orthodontic treatments, on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants must be permanent residents of Guangzhou, including those living in the city without local household registration, with no age or household registration restrictions imposed.

The application window will remain open until September 9th. Interested parties are encouraged to complete their registration before the deadline to secure their eligibility.
