China Biotech Services Holdings Limited has disclosed that its flagship Pengbo (Hainan) BNCT Hospital signed a one-year renewable framework cooperation agreement on 2 September 2026 with OncoCare Medical Hong Kong Limited, an oncology specialist institution under Tamarind Health Group.
The agreement establishes a cross-border oncology collaboration built on an “offshore assessment, onshore treatment and offshore follow-up” model. OncoCare will handle patient education, preliminary screening, referral coordination and post-treatment follow-up for overseas patients, while the Hainan-based hospital will provide boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT), inpatient care and real-time treatment updates. Joint multidisciplinary team consultations are planned for eligible patients, and detailed operating rules will be set out in a separate implementation agreement.
Pengbo (Hainan) BNCT Hospital, situated in the Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone, began trial operations in February 2026 and treated its first patients in March 2026. To date it has completed dozens of BNCT procedures focused primarily on head and neck cancers. The company previously reported an 80 % overall response rate among the first 10 head-and-neck cancer patients three months post-treatment.
Management views the partnership as a means to expand the overseas patient pipeline through Tamarind Health’s oncology network spanning Hong Kong, Singapore, Mainland China, Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam, complementing earlier domestic referral agreements. The collaboration is expected to create a seamless service loop and leverage Hainan’s medical tourism policies to position the BNCT facility for broader regional reach.
