Key leaders attended the event, including Xu Shaobing, President of CHINA EAST EDU; Li Xiaobo, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Second Construction Co., Ltd. of China Construction Fifth Engineering Bureau; Yang Jianhua, General Manager of Jiangxi Changda Engineering Construction Supervision Co., Ltd.; and Yao Zhongqiong, Executive Deputy General Manager of the group's First Culinary Division. At the auspicious morning hour, the construction site was adorned with flags, engineering vehicles sounded their horns in unison, and guests gathered in a festive atmosphere. With all eyes on him, President Xu Shaobing solemnly announced the official start of the project. Li Xiaobo, representing the construction unit, delivered a speech. He stated that the project would be advanced with high standards and strict requirements, fully implementing production safety responsibilities, establishing a full-process quality control system, scientifically coordinating construction schedules, optimizing resource allocation, and efficiently driving the project to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. The goal, he said, is to create a safe, reliable, and top-tier vocational education model project.

In her address, Yao Zhongqiong noted that Jiangxi Province's industrial upgrade momentum is strong, and the demand for skilled talent is high. The group's decision to invest in a vocational education industrial park here is both a positive response to the national call to accelerate the development of modern vocational education and a timely initiative to serve Jiangxi's economic and social development and bolster the high-skilled workforce in the central region.
As a key investment attraction project and major priority for Nanchang, the Xinhua Education Group Jiangxi Vocational Education Industrial Park was officially settled in the Xinjian Economic Development Zone in 2025. Covering approximately 287 mu (about 191,303 square meters) with a planned construction area of 248,000 square meters, the park will, once fully built, emerge as a high-level vocational education complex integrating vocational training, industry-education integration, and innovation and entrepreneurship. It is designed to accommodate over 12,000 students and 600 faculty and staff, serving as a "reservoir" for regional talent cultivation and a "booster" for industrial development.
