China Literature Repurchases 400,000 Shares; Total 2026 Buybacks Reach 14.05 Million

China Literature Limited disclosed on 2 September 2026 that it repurchased 400,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HK$20.24 to HK$20.60, spending HK$8.14 million. These shares are earmarked for cancellation and represent 0.04 % of the company’s 1.02 billion issued shares.

Including this latest transaction, shares acquired for cancellation but not yet cancelled between 20 August and 2 September total 3.47 million shares, equivalent to 0.34 % of the current share base. The volume-weighted average prices paid across these ten trading sessions ranged from HK$19.59 to HK$21.47.

Since obtaining the current repurchase mandate on 2 June 2026, China Literature has bought back 14.05 million shares—1.38 % of the shares outstanding on the mandate date—leaving considerable headroom within the authorized limit of 102.15 million shares.

Under Hong Kong listing rules, the company is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares following the latest buyback, extending through 2 October 2026. The total number of issued shares remains unchanged at 1,017.37 million pending formal cancellation of the repurchased stock.
