Daiwa released a research report stating that XIAOMI-W (01810) recently held its 2026 autumn product launch event, unveiling four new models under the SkyNomad series. This lineup is positioned as a "smart, transformable-space SUV" extended-range electric vehicle series, targeting families, long-distance travel, and outdoor adventures, with pricing ranging from RMB 209,900 to RMB 299,900. Within just four minutes of the launch, pre-orders surpassed 10,000 units.
Daiwa anticipates that the SkyNomad series will differentiate itself from the driver-focused SU7 and YU7 pure electric vehicle lines. The firm currently maintains a "Buy" rating on Xiaomi. Additionally, Xiaomi introduced its first foldable phone, the Xiaomi 18 Fold, equipped with the self-developed XuanJie O3 chip, along with the Xiaomi P9 Pro Max tablet. The 18 Fold, priced between RMB 10,999 and RMB 15,999 and set to go on sale on September 10, represents Xiaomi's most advanced flagship handset to date, integrating three proprietary technologies: the XuanJie O3 chip, HyperOS 4, and Xiaomi's MiMo AI model. It is also the first mass-produced flagship device to utilize CXMT's (688825.SH) domestically produced LPDDR6 memory, which Daiwa views as a significant milestone in the widespread adoption of China's domestic semiconductor technology.
