Effective from midnight tonight, fuel prices in Jiangxi Province will see a new increase. The adjustment comes as international crude oil markets have experienced sustained sharp gains since the last domestic fuel price revision on August 28, driven primarily by renewed escalations in the US-Iran conflict and abnormal price surges in the Middle East region.
To mitigate the impact of rising global oil prices on the domestic market while ensuring economic stability and safeguarding social welfare, temporary regulatory measures have been implemented for domestic refined oil product prices. These measures operate within the framework of the existing pricing mechanism. According to current calculation models, standard gasoline and diesel prices should have risen by 435 yuan and 420 yuan per ton respectively on September 11. However, following regulatory adjustments, the actual increases have been set at 260 yuan for gasoline and 250 yuan for diesel per ton.
Following this adjustment, the maximum retail prices for gasoline and diesel in Jiangxi Province are detailed in the attached table. It is important to note that the final fuel price adjustment is subject to the official announcement by the National Development and Reform Commission. For reference, the annual calendar of fuel price adjustments is also provided.
