Ningxia's agricultural authorities have officially penalized two enterprises involving 16 machinery products for violating subsidy filing regulations in the third batch of 2026 filings, marking a strict enforcement action against improper practices in the agricultural equipment purchase subsidy program.

The regional Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs conducted an expert review of the third batch of filing violations and issued written notifications to the involved parties following formal investigation procedures. This action was taken in accordance with the interim measures for handling violations in agricultural machinery purchase subsidy products and the notice on strengthening supervision and disciplinary constraints over the subsidy policy implementation.

The violations include the use of AI-generated product photos in filing materials, which failed to accurately represent the actual machinery. As a result of these infractions, the 2026 re-filing applications for the implicated products have been disallowed, and the affected enterprises will bear full responsibility for any disputes or economic losses arising from the penalties.

Authorities are urging all relevant manufacturers to take this as a cautionary lesson, tighten internal management, and strictly adhere to the filing regulations for subsidized machinery. The department emphasized that any future non-compliant activities will be met with resolute action to maintain the integrity of the subsidy program and protect the interests of farmers.
