Beijing Geekplus Technology Co., Ltd. (GEEKPLUS-W) disclosed a share repurchase on 2 September 2026, acquiring 4.40 million WVR ordinary B shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The shares were bought at prices ranging from HKD 8.64 to HKD 9.06 apiece, at a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 8.83, bringing the total consideration to HKD 38.86 million.
Following the transaction, the company’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) fell to 996.57 million from 1.00 billion, a 0.44% reduction. Treasury shares rose to 27.58 million, while the total issued share capital remained unchanged at 1.02 billion shares.
The buyback was executed under the mandate approved on 26 May 2026, which authorises the repurchase of up to 102.42 million shares. Cumulative buybacks under this mandate now total 27.58 million shares, equivalent to 2.69% of the shares outstanding on the mandate date. All repurchased shares are being retained as treasury stock; no cancellations have occurred to date.
In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, GEEKPLUS-W is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing, selling, or transferring shares or treasury shares, effective until 2 October 2026.
