A new crew-friendly hotel has officially opened in Wushan County, marking the first of its kind in Chongqing. The initiative was developed collaboratively by the Wushan Maritime Office and local shipping enterprises such as Chongqing Shenn Culture and Tourism Development Co., Ltd., aiming to address the pressing needs of crew members, including convenient shore accommodations and efficient logistics support.

Located directly opposite Gucheng Wharf, the hotel is housed within the Wushan Hanting Hotel, offering crew members an exceptionally convenient location for shore leave and administrative errands. On the second floor, a dedicated "Crew Station" has been established, creating an integrated service network that combines the station with hotel facilities. This setup extends party-building services into every aspect of crew life, with the station's interior thoughtfully divided into four functional areas: daily living services, learning and training, party activities, and promotional displays. These zones are designed to support a variety of needs, from organizational events to personal development and essential services, truly embodying the vision of "guidance at departure, a home at berth, support in emergencies, and warmth upon return."

The hotel currently offers crew members an exclusive 20% discount on room rates and has introduced a parcel collection point for added convenience. Concurrently, the special party branch for the crew industry in Wushan has unveiled a comprehensive "Eight Measures" service plan. These measures cover political guidance, organizational coverage, assistance initiatives, humanitarian care, model cultivation, and certification agency services, among other areas. By adopting a checklist-based supply model and offering customized services, the branch aims to reduce administrative burdens and protect the legal rights of crew members, effectively establishing the station as a welcoming "home away from home" for those coming ashore.
