Giant Network Group Co.,Ltd. (002558) announced on the evening of September 8 that its second-largest shareholder, Shanghai Tengpeng Investment Partnership (Limited Partnership) (hereafter "Tengpeng Investment"), a party acting in concert with the company's controlling shareholder, has completed its latest share reduction plan.
According to the announcement, between July 16 and September 7, 2026, Tengpeng Investment disposed of a total of 53.5972 million shares through centralized bidding and block trading, representing 2.82% of the company's total share capital. The actual number of shares reduced did not exceed the upper limit outlined in the previously disclosed plan. As stated in an earlier announcement, the proceeds from this reduction are designated for repaying bank loans.
The execution of this reduction aligns fully with the original plan, with no violations of shareholder commitments noted. As of September 7, following the completion of this round, Tengpeng Investment still holds 142 million shares in Giant Network Group Co.,Ltd., accounting for 7.47% of the total share capital. Together with its concert parties, Tengpeng Investment maintains a combined stake of approximately 37.16% in the company.
This reduction will not result in any change of control at Giant Network Group Co.,Ltd., nor will it impact the company's governance structure or ongoing operations. Chairman Shi Yuzhu remains the actual controller of the company.
