Jizhou District is deepening its commitment to youth science and technology education by consolidating premium educational resources and enriching the available platforms for science outreach. These efforts are designed to continuously elevate the scientific literacy and innovative capabilities of local youth, ensuring that the district's science education initiatives are both substantive and effective in their implementation.

This year, leveraging the 40th Science and Technology Week as its primary stage, the district hosted an artificial intelligence challenge alongside a showcase of scientific achievements. Students from numerous primary and secondary schools across the district presented over a hundred self-made innovative works. With events such as drone competitions and robot programming serving as the centerpiece, the activities fully demonstrated the creative thinking and practical skills of Jizhou's youth, fostering a district-wide atmosphere that celebrates science and encourages bold innovation.

Collaborative efforts involving the District Association for Science and Technology, the District Education Bureau, and social organizations like the District Science Development Association and the Youth Science Innovation Leadership Association have been instrumental in selecting and preparing students for various innovation contests. At the 40th National Youth Science Innovation Competition and the finals of the 10th National Youth Drone Competition, participants achieved historic best results for the district, marking a significant milestone that underscores the effectiveness of Jizhou's focused science education strategy and its robust multi-stakeholder cultivation ecosystem.

In addition, multiple district departments have joined forces to organize thematic lectures on topics such as ecology and artificial intelligence. By tapping into high-caliber science outreach resources, these initiatives are empowering campus-based education, bringing top-tier scientific knowledge directly into schools, broadening students' horizons, and instilling a pragmatic and inquiring scientific mindset. In partnership with the Tianjin Science and Technology Museum and Tianjin Normal University, the district has also launched mobile science museum tours. These tours utilize physics, chemistry, and mathematics demonstration equipment to bridge the gap in rural science education resources, having served over 2,000 people to date. This initiative is a practical step toward making grassroots science services a regular and inclusive offering.

Looking ahead, Jizhou District will persist in consolidating its science education resources, diversifying the formats of its outreach activities, and perfecting its talent development framework. By continuously fortifying the foundation of youth science and technology education, the district is injecting momentum into building a robust regional pipeline of scientific and technological talent.
