Drivers are urged to fill up their tanks now, as fuel prices are expected to surge this evening. The 18th fuel price adjustment of the year is scheduled for September 11th at 24:00, with projections indicating an increase of nearly 0.30 yuan per liter.

Following the previous rise of over 0.29 yuan per liter, fuel prices in 2026 have now increased 11 times, compared to only 5 decreases. Over the first eight months of the year, cumulative price hikes have already exceeded 1.32 yuan per liter. With international crude oil prices continuing to climb by more than 3.25% at this morning's close, today's projected increase has grown even further.

Due to the ongoing rise in international oil prices, the crude oil change rate has reached 5.89%, with an estimated price increase of 330 yuan per ton. Based on this adjustment, gasoline and diesel prices are expected to rise by 0.25 yuan to 0.30 yuan per liter tomorrow evening. With less than 48 hours remaining until the price hike takes effect, September 12th will mark the implementation of the new, higher fuel prices.

Following tomorrow evening's adjustment, 95-octane gasoline is approaching the "9 yuan era." After the last price increase, 95-octane gasoline has already risen to 8.60 yuan per liter in most regions. With the upcoming increase of nearly 0.30 yuan per liter, day-after-tomorrow's 95-octane prices will be nearing the 9 yuan threshold.
