Anthropic PBC is reportedly in the final stages of securing a $15 billion revolving credit facility, according to sources with knowledge of the matter. This move is expected to clear a significant hurdle for the artificial intelligence company as it prepares to make its highly anticipated public filing for an initial public offering.

Morgan Stanley is slated to lead the financing, with Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, and Citigroup all expected to hold major roles in the credit arrangement, the sources indicated. These same four financial institutions are also understood to be the principal underwriters for the IPO transaction, as previously reported.

Insiders have mentioned that Anthropic is aiming to raise a sum through its public debut that could match or even surpass the capital raised by SpaceX. In the typical corporate timeline, companies often secure their revolving credit lines prior to finalizing the division of responsibilities among their IPO underwriters.

Barclays and Wells Fargo are also projected to be key participants in the lending syndicate.
