R&F Properties Faces RMB47.11 Billion in Overdue Debt; Court Confirms Withdrawal of Litigation Appeal

Guangzhou R&F Properties Co., Ltd. (R&F Properties) disclosed two material updates to bondholders and investors:

Litigation Update • The Guangdong Higher People’s Court issued Civil Ruling (2026) Yue Min Zhong No. 2806, confirming the automatic withdrawal of appeal by Taiyuan R&F Properties Development Co., Ltd. in a financial-loan dispute that also listed R&F Properties and two affiliated entities as defendants. • The ruling is final, closing the appellate process for this case previously reported on 29 April and 27 May 2026.

Debt Status as of 31 July 2026 • Aggregate overdue interest-bearing liabilities within the consolidated statements reached RMB47.11 billion. – Corporate credit bonds: RMB16.74 billion – Bank loans: RMB15.30 billion – Non-bank financial institution loans (trusts, leasing firms, etc.): RMB7.29 billion – Other interest-bearing debts: RMB7.77 billion • The company cites short-term liquidity pressure as the cause of missed payments and is in active discussions with creditors to formulate repayment solutions. Initiatives include accelerating property sales and asset disposals to improve cash flow.

R&F Properties states that it will continue monitoring its debt position and aligning repayment schedules with operating conditions. The company advises investors to remain aware of related risks.
