Freetech has announced that its integrated parking-and-driving domain controller solution, developed on Horizon Robotics' Journey 6B chip, has officially entered the mass production phase, marking one of the industry's first large-scale deliveries of the J6B platform.
Positioned as a next-generation global platform, the J6B solution targets the mainstream intelligent driving assistance market and supports flexible deployment in both all-in-one and compact domain controller configurations. On the functional front, it covers over a dozen active safety features, including AEB, ACC, and LKA, while also offering APA and RPA parking capabilities, catering to both driving and parking scenarios.
Freetech's partnership with Horizon Robotics dates back to 2019, progressing through the Journey 2 and Journey 3 chips to the Journey 6M and now the Journey 6B. This collaboration makes Freetech one of the few Tier 1 suppliers in the sector to cooperate with Horizon across its entire Journey chip family. In 2025, the urban NOA solution built on the Journey 6M secured design wins from over 20 vehicle models and has already entered high-volume production. The rollout of the J6B solution further completes Freetech's product portfolio on the Journey 6 platform and enhances its ability to offer diverse services to OEM clients.
Freetech attributes the successful mass deployment of the J6B solution to the continued accumulation of its full-stack AI capabilities. The company has established a complete AI system covering software algorithms, hardware coordination, data loops, large AI models, and engineering implementation. Among its key components, the FUZE middleware enables efficient software integration and adaptation, while the FUGA data-loop platform drives continuous scenario iteration, providing a solid technological foundation for the scalable production of the J6B solution.
The rapid iteration of the FUGA data-loop platform, the global debut of the 8T8R 4D millimeter-wave radar, the mass production progress of the Fuxing new platform, and now the large-scale delivery of J6B all demonstrate how Freetech's full-stack AI architecture is translating into tangible commercial results across real-world applications.
These achievements are also reflected in market data. According to the latest figures from Zoss Automotive Research, third-party intelligent driving suppliers hold an overwhelmingly dominant position in China's L2 to L2+ ADAS market, with their installation share remaining consistently above 97% from 2022 through the first five months of 2026. Within this stable third-party-led landscape, Freetech leads all domestic players with a 27.8% market share. Additionally, among third-party NOA suppliers in the passenger car segment priced under 200,000 yuan, Freetech ranks second in the industry with a 17.9% share.
