A significant fuel price surge is set for tomorrow evening, with the 18th adjustment of the year for oil prices scheduled for 11:59 PM on September 11th. This upcoming change is anticipated to mark another substantial increase of nearly 0.30 yuan per liter.

Following the previous hike of over 0.29 yuan per liter, 2026 has now witnessed 11 price increases compared to just 5 decreases. Over the first eight months of the year, fuel prices have already surged by more than 1.32 yuan per liter. With international crude oil prices climbing over 3.25% at the close of trading this morning, today's projected increase has grown even larger.

Influenced by today's continued rise in global oil prices, the crude oil change rate has reached 5.89%. Forecasts indicate an upward adjustment of 330 yuan per ton, which translates to an expected increase of 0.25 to 0.30 yuan per liter for gasoline and diesel prices tomorrow evening. With less than 48 hours remaining until the hike, September 12th will bring the new, higher prices into effect.

After tomorrow night's adjustment, 95-octane gasoline is poised to approach the "9-yuan era." Following the last price increase, 95-octane fuel has already reached 8.60 yuan per liter in most regions. With this additional rise of nearly 0.30 yuan per liter, the day after tomorrow will see 95-octane prices nearing the 9-yuan threshold. (Note: The projected increase is based on institutional forecasts; the final adjustment will be confirmed by official sources.)
