Recently, under the guidance and promotion of the Yingtan Municipal Market Supervision Administration in Jiangxi Province, the province's first "Brand Loan" has been officially launched, anchored by trademark pledge as its core and brand quality value as the basis for credit enhancement. A local copper enterprise specializing in high-precision copper strips secured a 10 million yuan working capital loan from Bank of Jiujiang Co., Ltd. (referred to as Bank of Jiujiang) using its independent brand intangible assets, marking a significant breakthrough in brand-value pledged financing within the province and carving out a new pathway for asset-light financing for small and medium-sized enterprises.

The copper enterprise's products are widely utilized across new energy, electronic information, aerospace, and other sectors. Its independent brand boasts substantial market recognition. Recently, due to capacity expansion and the need for supplementary raw material procurement, the company developed a demand for low-cost working capital. Upon becoming aware of this situation, the Yingtan Municipal Market Supervision Administration provided the enterprise with comprehensive, one-stop supporting services throughout the entire process, assisting with quality credit certification verification, brand value assessment, trademark ownership inspection, and pledge registration applications. Concurrently, leveraging its connection with Bank of Jiujiang, a tailored financing plan was devised based on the company's operational characteristics.

Moving away from traditional real estate collateral models, the plan utilized the quality value of the enterprise's own brand as the primary credit enhancement basis, enabling swift approval and disbursement, successfully facilitating the injection of 10 million yuan in new credit. "Previously, loans were only possible through mortgaging factories and equipment; our trademarks and brand held little sway in raising capital," stated a representative from the enterprise. "This time, obtaining a ten-million-yuan loan via our brand intangible assets has immensely relieved the cash flow pressure for stockpiling raw materials."

This "Brand Loan" not only ensures the enterprise's order fulfillment and capacity expansion but also gives the company a tangible appreciation of intellectual property's practical value, solidifying its confidence in strengthening brand development and increasing R&D innovation investment.

In recent years, the Yingtan Municipal Market Supervision Administration, focusing on creating an optimized business environment, has been actively promoting the transformation of trademark "soft power" into financing "hard assets", establishing a replicable working model. To date, 17 companies in Yingtan have completed trademark pledge registration, collectively securing 115 million yuan in pledged financing through banks, effectively resolving financing bottlenecks for numerous small and medium-sized enterprises.

The Yingtan trademark acceptance window has been continuously optimizing its business processes, conducting thorough pre-review work. Through dedicated online channels that directly connect to the National Intellectual Property Administration's registration hall, it promotes a system where "companies run less, and information travels more," enabling enterprises to complete the entire trademark pledge registration in one go within just two days. This allows businesses to access services conveniently without leaving their locality.

The Yingtan Market Supervision Administration has also formulated the "Yingtan City Operating Guidelines for Pledged Loans on Registered Trademark Rights". This initiative coordinates efforts across all district and county-level market supervision bureaus, six intellectual property workstations, and intellectual property agencies within its jurisdiction, leveraging frontline advantages to provide services. By establishing a ledger of registered trademarks within its jurisdiction and perfecting a liaison officer system, staff proactively visit enterprises to stay updated on their pledge financing needs, informing them about the conditions and application procedures for trademark financing loans to ensure the effective implementation of trademark pledge financing policies.

Fully utilizing the strategic role of trademark brands in boosting the copper industry chain, the Yingtan Municipal Market Supervision Administration actively coordinates with banking institutions to tailor trademark pledge financing solutions for copper enterprises, having already assisted several in securing bank credit lines. Concurrently, leveraging key dates like "3.15" International Consumer Rights Day and World Intellectual Property Day, it conducts on-site promotional campaigns to heighten public awareness and participation in trademark pledge financing, guiding eligible enterprises to actively pursue such financing options.
