Hong Kong dollar interbank offered rates moved higher across all tenors on September 7th, with the one-month rate, which is closely tied to mortgage pricing, inching up by 1.208 basis points to 2.85476%.
The three-month rate, a key indicator of bank funding costs, also rose, gaining 3.446 basis points to reach 3.06470%. The overnight rate saw a significant jump, climbing 82.369 basis points to 3.04750%, while the one-week rate increased by 8.887 basis points to 2.68887%.
Moving to other short-term maturities, the two-week rate advanced by 6.399 basis points to 2.69595%, and the two-month rate rose 2.369 basis points to 2.96708%.
On the longer end of the curve, the six-month rate gained 1.304 basis points to 3.24292%, while the one-year rate increased by 3.744 basis points to finish at 3.59196%.
