PATEO CONNECT Technology (Shanghai) Corporation (abbreviated “PATEO”) announced receipt of its first official project designation from an unnamed but “leading domestic manufacturer of high-end new-energy two-wheelers.” Under the mandate, PATEO will act as supporting supplier for the client’s forthcoming premium model, integrating its proprietary Vehicle-Bodied Sound-Emitting Interaction System.
Developed entirely in-house, the system employs an ultra-thin automotive-grade piezoelectric transducer that turns a vehicle’s exterior panels into sound sources while adding dual-mode vibration sensing. Compared with conventional speakers, the technology materially cuts component size and power demand and offers full water-, dust- and temperature-resistance—features suited to outdoor, compact two-wheeler installations.
After scenario optimization, the platform provides: • 360° surround audio and personalised voice interaction during rides. • Acoustic alerts for road hazards and tap-to-wake body control functions. • Real-time detection of collisions and scrapes, combining safety and entertainment.
Management emphasised that the project extends PATEO’s mature four-wheeler interactive technologies into the high-end two-wheeler segment, opening a sizeable new addressable market given China’s large existing two-wheel stock and rising demand for intelligent upgrades.
Looking ahead, PATEO intends to continue iterating the Vehicle-Bodied Sound-Emitting Interaction System, deepen its “software + hardware + chip + cloud” ecosystem integration and pursue broader multi-vehicle applications. The company cautioned that R&D and implementation carry inherent market and technical risks and pledged ongoing risk-management measures.
Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise prudence when dealing in PATEO securities.
