This challenging task was accomplished by Shenzhen Wuce Space Information Co., Ltd., a "hidden champion" in the low-altitude routine inspection and operations sector, which secured a strategic investment from the Nanhu Science and Technology Innovation Fund in July 2026 and established its Yangtze River Delta headquarters in Nanhu within just two months.
At the office located in the iFLYTEK Jiaxing Industrial Acceleration Center on Nanhu Street, the Wuce Space team is fully engaged in debugging business models. After obtaining its business license in June 2026, officially moving in during July, and equipping its office facilities by August, the R&D team, primarily composed of master's degree holders, has begun full-scale operations. "We do not manufacture drone hardware; our core lies in scenario operation data and AI algorithm," stated a Jiaxing-based leader of Wuce Space. Holding a private sector Class-A surveying and mapping qualification, the company’s primary business leverages a nationwide network of drone nests to enable "one network, multi-purpose" cross-departmental inspections, fulfilling the needs of urban management, transportation, water affairs, and photovoltaic inspections in a single flight. Now established in Nanhu District, the focus is on processing massive real-world data into training models to empower embodied intelligence enterprises.
The decision to relocate from Shenzhen to Nanhu was driven not only by the capital infusion but by the comprehensive industrial ecosystem that accompanies it. Miao Jie, the administrator of the Nanhu Science and Technology Innovation Fund, noted that the fund does not simply provide money. During research, they observed that Wuce Space, as a chain-leading platform company, connects upstream with drone manufacturers and downstream with urban governance applications, perfectly aligning with Nanhu District's direction of developing embodied intelligence and the low-altitude economy. Its proven capability to close the loop across data, algorithms, airspace, and operations convinced them to make a decisive strategic investment, aiming to catalyze the growth of the low-altitude economy industrial cluster in the Yangtze River Delta.
The Nanhu Science and Technology Innovation Fund, with a total size of RMB 1 billion and an initial phase of RMB 200 million, focuses on "investing early, investing small, investing long-term, and investing in hard tech." It targets key industrial tracks such as the low-altitude economy, artificial intelligence, and high-end equipment manufacturing, specifically supporting tech enterprises in their seed, start-up, and growth stages. For instance, Xingzhong Space specializes in commercial cubic satellite R&D; Zhongcheng Jiao Technology, backed by Tunnel Stock, is focusing commercial applications of vertical large models for transportation; Yixuan Spin Magnet provides industrial-grade intelligent computing and quantum computing cloud services; and Xingling Power is advancing low-cost solutions for embodied intelligence hardware and "big and small brains" in industrial and medical scenarios. Thanks to the "investment-to-loan, investment-to-insurance" mechanism, these invested companies can leverage bank credit and tech insurance, allowing them to concentrate on R&D with agility. Simultaneously, Nanhu District is advancing initiatives to upgrade technology incubation platforms, focusing on ecosystem collaboration with leading enterprises to foster a model of "chain-leading company guidance, research institution support, financial capital empowerment, and platform hosting." The iFLYTEK Jiaxing Industrial Acceleration Center is one of the key incubation platforms in the district.
