Conch Cement Buys Back 200,000 H-Shares for HKD3.37 Million, Lifts Treasury Stock to 12.77 Million

Anhui Conch Cement Company Limited (“Conch Cement”) disclosed that it repurchased 200,000 H-shares on 8 September 2026 via on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The shares were acquired at prices ranging from HKD 16.76 to HKD 16.88, with a volume-weighted average cost of approximately HKD 16.83 per share, bringing the total cash outlay to about HKD 3.37 million.

Following the transaction, Conch Cement’s outstanding H-shares (excluding treasury shares) fell marginally by 0.0155 % to 1.29 billion, while the company’s treasury share balance increased to 12.77 million. The total issued share capital remains unchanged at 1.30 billion shares, as the repurchased stock is being held in treasury and has not been cancelled.

The latest buyback forms part of the mandate approved by shareholders on 28 May 2026, which authorizes the company to repurchase up to 1.30 billion shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate have reached 12.77 million shares, equivalent to 0.98 % of the company’s issued shares at the time the mandate was granted.

In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations, Conch Cement is subject to a 30-day moratorium on new share issues or sales of treasury shares until 8 October 2026.
