Officials from the district's social affairs administration released a statement on Friday saying they had formed a dedicated task force to examine the issue.

The woman, identified as Huang, a resident of the zone, triggered a dynamic monitoring alert for welfare recipients when she traveled to Hong Kong on her own to attend a performance. Community officials subsequently approached her to explain relevant policies and remind her of the applicable rules. Her family members, worried that her actions could result in the loss of their subsistence allowance, posted about the situation online in hopes of finding assistance. The administration stated it is currently reviewing the family's circumstances and will handle the matter in accordance with laws and regulations once the verification process is completed.
