UiPath Stock Jumps as Revenue Beat Helps Assuage Growth Worries

Shares of automation software firm UiPath rose Thursday after it beat analyst expectations for its second quarter revenue while matching estimates for earnings per share.
Shares were up 9% in after-hours trading.
The company reported earnings of 15 cents a share on revenue of $410 million. Analysts were expecting earnings of 15 cents a share on revenue of $397.8 million.
The stock has risen nearly 70% over the past year, but is up just 12% this year as concerns that artificial intelligence will hurt software firm's revenue have weighed on the stock more recently. UiPath has said that AI will raise demand for its robotic process automation technology, which automates certain tasks.
