ANZ Group Holdings (ASX:ANZ, NZE:ANZ) recently completed several Australian branch upgrades and expansions under a push to modernize its network, with more activity scheduled across the country in the coming months, according to a Thursday statement.
In Queensland, the bank fast-tracked the reopening of its Chinchilla branch in May, reopened its Sunshine Plaza branch after a refurbishment in July, opened a new business center in Maroochydore City Centre, and relocated its Maryborough branch.
The company said it is now looking to update New South Wales branches in Hurstville and Cabramatta, alongside centers in Prahran, Victoria, and Rundle Mall, South Australia.
The works are part of ANZ's national branch strategy, which includes a AU$20 million investment across Queensland, AU$10 million across New South Wales, as well as other targeted branch investments nationwide.
The bank's Australian and New Zealand shares both gained over 1% in recent Thursday trade.
