Precious Shipping Unit Takes Delivery of Bulk Carrier; Shares Up 3%

Precious Shipping (SET:PSL) unit took delivery of a new 63,500- dead-weight tonnage (DWT) bulk carrier on Thursday, according to a same-day filing with the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

The vessel, built by Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering, has been named M.V. Ratima Naree and is registered in Singapore.

Following the delivery, Precious Shipping's fleet comprises 42 vessels.

Shares of the shipping company rose nearly 3% in recent trade.
