Singapore's Foreign Reserves Rise in August

The Singapore government's total foreign reserves increased to SG$550.7 billion in August from SG$549.3 billion in July, according to data published by the Monetary Authority of Singapore on Monday.

The amount consists of SG$1.78 billion in International Monetary Fund reserve position, SG$8.21 billion in special drawing rights, and SG$540.7 billion in gold and foreign exchange.
