Sunshine Metals (ASX:SHN) said engineering and environmental works at its Mt Moss processing facility in Queensland are progressing in line with site works, with mill construction and commissioning on track for first gold in mid-2027, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Mt Moss construction is due to start in October or November after the design and remaining contracts are finalized, the company said.
Activities that have already been completed include decommissioning of all magnetite-associated processing equipment; mill equipment upgrades; assessment of fuel storage tanks, generators, and electrical switchgear; and the rehabilitation of site roads and earthworks, among others.
