Yandal Resources Extends High-Grade Gold Domain at Western Australia Project; Shares Down 5%

Yandal Resources (ASX:YRL) reported further exploration results for the Arrakis Prospect within its Ironstone Well-Barwidgee Gold Project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The results were of up to 24.2 meters at 1.4 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 237.8 meters, or 18 meters estimated true width, including 8.3 meters at 3 g/t gold from 240.7 meters, further including 3 meters at 5.4 g/t gold from 246 meters.

The intercepts extend the recently defined high-grade domain C roughly 80 meters down-plunge, where it remains open at depth, with first results from reverse circulation drilling designed to follow up shallow intercepts from diamond pre-collars also received, the filing added.

The company's shares fell almost 5% in recent Tuesday trade.
