Tivan (ASX:TVN) discovered further high-grade copper-gold mineralization at multiple target areas across its Baucau, Ossu, and Turiscai projects in the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

Assays of 574 rock chips returned grades of up to 6.9% copper and 24.7 grams per tonne grade of gold, as well as up to 2.2% nickel, 0.3% cobalt, and 15.1 g/t silver, per the filing.

At the Baucau project's Scorpion prospect, Tivan identified a "significant polymetallic anomaly" extending over an area of about 1,000 meters by 800 meters, including high-grade copper, gold, nickel, and cobalt mineralization, the company said.

Tivan is conducting a large-scale regional drone magnetic survey at the Turiscai and Baucau projects to identify and refine priority exploration targets for drilling.
