0225 GMT - Japan's wage data released earlier Tuesday clears the way for a Bank of Japan rate increase later this month, Capital Economics says in commentary. The government's preliminary estimate showed that annual growth in labor cash earnings quickened to 4.7% in July from 4.0% in June, the research firm says. Overall, "we remain confident that the BoJ will deliver a 25bp hike at its meeting next week," Capital Economics says. "We also expect the pace of tightening to pick up in the coming months, as the Board presses ahead with a return to neutral," the firm added.
