Hindustan Zinc Signs Six-Year Contract for 30 Electric Trucks

Hindustan Zinc (NSE:HINDZINC, BOM:500188) signed a six-year transportation contract with MFL India for 30 electric trucks to transport zinc and lead concentrate from its Rampura Agucha mine to smelting operations in Rajasthan.
The contract can be extended by two years, according to a Wednesday filing. MFL will also set up and operate dedicated charging infrastructure for the electric fleet.
