Viking (VIK) floated out its second hydrogen-powered cruise ship, Viking Astrea, marking the first time the ship has been in the water, the company said Friday.
The ship, slated for delivery in May 2027, will sail in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe during its inaugural season, the company said.
The Viking Astrea has a gross tonnage of about 54,300 tons with 499 staterooms that can host 998 guests, the company said.
Shares of Viking were up 1.3% pre-bell.
