Bangkok Aviation Fuel Unit Halts Oil Pipeline After Spill, Aviation Fuel Supply Unaffected

Bangkok Aviation Fuel Services (SET:BAFS) unit BAFS Pipeline Transportation halted oil transportation through the affected pipeline, after an oil spill was detected on Chuea Phloeng Road beneath Bangkok's Rama III elevated road on Tuesday.
The company said no severe impact on the public, surrounding communities or environment had been observed, according to a Thursday filing.
Aviation fuel deliveries to Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi airports, as well as inland oil transportation to the northern region, remained unaffected.
The company said the incident is covered by insurance, and it is working to locate and resolve the leak.
