Firefly Aerospace (FLY) said Wednesday that it has won a multi-launch contract with state-owned Swedish Space Corporation for two Alpha rocket launches from Sweden's Esrange Space Center.

The company said it expects the rockets to launch by 2028 at the earliest, which will serve national security customers as well as commercial rideshare customers.

Under the agreement, Swedish Space Corporation secured the full payload capacity for both launches, and can allocate payload space to government and commercial customers.

Firefly said the agreement follows the establishment of transatlantic regulatory frameworks and completion of infrastructure needed to launch Alpha from Esrange's Launch Complex 3C.
