Kuala Lumpur Kepong Appoints COO Lee Jia Zhang as CEO

Kuala Lumpur Kepong (KLSE:KLK) has appointed its chief operating officer Lee Jia Zhang to the position of chief executive officer, with effect from Oct. 1, according to a Wednesday filing to the Malaysian bourse.
Zhang's redesignation is part of the group's orderly leadership transition and to support continuity in the company's strategic and operational direction, the statement said.
He joined the rubber and palm oil company in April 2010 and assumed the role of COO on Oct. 1, 2021.
