Olin Unit Gets $788M Contract to Supply Bullets to U.S. Military

Olin Corp. unit Olin Winchester was awarded a $788.3M contract to supply bullets to the U.S military, the Defense Department said.
Under the terms of the deal, Olin Winchester would supply 5.56mm, 7.62mm and .50 caliber ammunition, with work location and funding to be determined with each order.
A single bid was solicited and one received for the contract.
Army Contracting Command, Rock Island Arsenal, Ill., is the contracting activity, the Pentagon added.
