PTC's (PTC) growth, retention and pricing, fiscal 2027 cash flow outlook and AI tailwinds and headwinds have been key areas of investor focus lately, Oppenheimer said Friday.
The company remains confident in its path toward double-digit annual recurring revenue growth, driven by go-to-market improvements and focused research and development, but investors are debating the sustainability of that growth beyond fiscal 2027, according to the note.
PTC is not assuming similar levels of retention outperformance in fiscal Q4 but has observed steady improvements, supported by internal churn mitigation efforts that will likely be supplemented by new pricing efforts going forward, the note added.
The company including pricing boosts of 3% to 4% in new contracts starting in fiscal Q2, as well as in existing contracts coming up for renewal. The brokerage said it expects minimal impact in fiscal 2026 but sees potential for pricing to contribute an incremental 1 to 2 points to growth over the next 2 to 3 years of renewals.
Oppenheimer kept an outperform rating on PTC with a price target of $175.
