JinkoSolar Holding's (JKS) board has approved changing the company's English name to Jinko Holdings, the company said in a Wednesday statement.
The name change remains subject to shareholder approval, which the company said it will seek at the Oct. 21 annual general meeting, as well as other regulatory procedures.
The company will retain its "JKS" ticker on the New York Stock Exchange following the name change, according to the statement.
